What We Do

Churches

There are 12 churches in the area who we work with. We help support any existing youth work in the church or provide leadership and resource where it is required. We help run and lead holiday clubs through the summer, contributing to planning, teaching, and the recruitment of volunteers and partner with them in our projects.

Holiday Clubs

Each Year we help local churches to run holiday clubs for primary school young people and first to third years. These clubs usually run for a week at some point during the summer Holidays. Each one has a mix of activities which include, crafts, games, stories, songs and film clips.

Residential Events

Each year we are involved in supporting Scripture Union residential events, including SU Lanarkshire primary and secondary weekends and KX1.

KX1 is a week long event in Kingcross on Arran for P5 - S2 young people. We organise an event with a focus on young people from Cambuslang and Rutherglen and a team of local volunteers.
